Rub a dub dub...

Scooge in a tub.

Scooge (also Scoogie or Scoogie-man) was one of Peter's nicknames. I think I mentioned it before, but in case you haven't read that far back, there it is. I started calling him Scoogie Woogie the day after he was born (because I'm weird like that) and, for some reason, the Scoogie part stuck.

Anyway, this picture was taken when he was about 8 months old. Peter loved taking a bath. This child would have spent hours in the tub if I would have let him. He would just hang out in the water, playing with his toys and, as he got older, swimming in the tub. I so wish I could just pick up his chubby little baby self, wrap him in a towel and snuggle with him. At least I have the memories. And the pictures. They're far better than never having known him at all.

  5. well...everything you feel, i feel. so guess i am ffu too. i also self medicate and no i am not an alcohol druggy either. i guess you don't get it till you live it. i had a dream a few weeks ago. My husband and the girls were sitting on the couch watching tv and he said time for bed girls. my younger one went to bed. My Lacey,(who is the one that was killed)stayed sitting . i asked her where are your scars?(she had many injuries from her accident and would have had many scars had she lived) she smiled, came and lay on my chest.I held her for a long time. i could feel her skin and i could smell her hair. it felt real. i woke up hysterical cause i couldn't believe it was a dream. i was very upset for days and i'm shaking now . I feel she came to me. i cant tell "normal" people they tell you to go to counseling. I needed to share that with someone who gets it..thank you.

    FFU too :(
